The number of incoming phone lines is the number of lines you need to handle incoming calls only. Do not include in that total calls coming in on your toll free line noe outbound calls, neither of which uses your incoiming phone lines.

Standard configurations above include 1 voicemail box for your incoming line, answered if extensions don't answer. There is one dialplan common to all extensions.

If you need additional voice mail boxes for special purposes, add 1 for each additional voice amil box that you need.

Normally, in a small business environment, one dial plan will suffice for all your calls. This means that all extensions have the same privileges. If you need for certain extensions to have expanded privileges (such as the ability to dial international calls) or diminished privileges (lobby extension cannot make outside calls), add 1 additional dialplan for each set of special privileges.

When you formulate your initial order, you should keep in mind that Xantek PBX systems are easily expandable. So limit your initial order to a small test group and expand it as you need.

The following form can be used to calculate the costs of your hosted PBX system.
Number of incoming phone lines:
Phone lines are only needed to handle incoming calls. If you use toll free dial in numbers, yoou can reduce the number of phone lines that you need. Inbound toll free calls will not use up one of your incoming phone lines. Also, you do not need phone lies to handle your outgoing calls.
Number of incoming toll-free numbers:
You also should not need more than one incoming toll free line unless you have multiple business units that require separate phone numbers. One toll free line can handle multiple simultaneious calls.
Number of outbound minutes per month:
This is the number of outbound call minutes you will use for calls to the USA and Canada in any calendar month. International calls will be billed separately.
Number of extensions in your system:
The number of physical phones at physical locations in your system. Extensions can be locaed anywhere in the world. Every workstation and employee should have one extension.
Additional VoiceMail Boxes:
One voicemail box is included in your basic system. There is an additional charge for each separate mailbox. For example, if you don't want Sales to have to listen to Accounting's voicemail, get a box for each. If you want a call routing plan, add 1 for each level of routing.
Additional Dialplans:
One dialplan is included in your basic system. A dialplan determines how each extension is to handle calls. It also determines how inbound calls are to be routed.
